Located in the heart of downtown Medford, centrally located on Central Avenue and Main Street. Medford also offers a diverse live music scene with multiple entertainment venues from the Lithia Motors Amphitheater at the Expo Park in Central Point, Oregon and Jackson County Britt Festivals Gardens and Amphitheater, located in Jacksonville,Oregon which provides outdoor music and performing arts festival presents world-class jazz, folk, country, pop, and classical artists, along with dance, comedy, and musical theater. At about 1,382 feet above sea level, Medford is protected by surrounding mountains, and the area is favored with a mild climate. Annual average rainfall is 29 inches. We have the four seasons with temperatures that are generally mild overall. The yearly snowfall is three to four inches on the valley floor. The median winter temperature is 36 degrees. Summers are warm with a median temperature of 94 degrees. The humidity is low. Medford is home to the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport. Medford, is the areas regional airport serving Jackson County, the entire Rogue Valley, and seven addition counties. Currently there are four airline carriers servicing the airport with approximately 56 arriving and departing flights daily. Non-stop jet service to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.
